Adding print and download buttons to Customer Order Page
Merchants often want to add a download button to their Shopify's Customer Order detail page for Convenience for their customers.
Providing a print and download buttons allow customers to easily access and save important documents related to their order, such as invoices, receipts without having to navigate through multiple pages or emails.
Here's how to add Print and Download buttons to the Order Detail Page within the Customer Account:
Navigate to the Settings page in the sidebar menu and select Online Store.
Locate the section labeled Add print and download button to Shopify's Customer order detail page
Click the Activate button.
You'll be directed to the customer order page on the Theme Editor, login your account into box.
Login tip: You can login your account in your storefront first. Then save your password on GG Chrome, then go to Theme editor to login again.
Then, select the Customer order account page.
In the Customization section on the left, select Add section or Add block and then choose our app block Fordeer: Invoice.
Customize the button to fit your preferences.
Go to App Embeds section and activate our app extension.
Click Save to apply the changes.
To test the functionality, visit your Online Store, log in to an account, and view an order detail. You should see the button available there.
The print/download button currently allows you to download invoices only; it does not support downloading packing slips or refunds.
