How to use priority feature for label/badge display?

Hello from Fordeer,

When using Priority, you probably meet this case: You set up Priority already, but it doesn't work as you expected.

This article might provide you answers for that question:

NOTE: 1 is the highest priority

Enabled the feature: Hide if the label has the same or a higher priority number: This will hide the label if another label with same or higher priority is also supposed to display on the same product.

Without Priority: If a label doesn’t have the priority feature enabled, it will display according to the settings you’ve configured. Labels created later will appear over those created earlier.

With Priority: If you set a priority for label campaigns on specific products, please check out a couple of cases below

Labels/badges with different priority

1. Different priorities

The label/badge with higher priority will automatically show up, and the one with lower priority will be hidden.

ExampleResult
Label: "SALE" with priority = 1 and is not enabled And label: "LAST ONE" with priority = 2 and is enabledLabel "SALE" will be automatically displayed( since it has higher priority: 1), and "LAST ONE" will be hidden

2. Different priorities and none is enabled

The label/badge with higher priority will overlap the one with lower priority

ExampleResult
Label: "ONLY 1 LEFT" with priority = 2 and label: "PREORDER" with priority = 3. Both of them are not enabledLabel "ONLY 1 LEFT" will appear over the label "PREORDER"

Labels/badges with same priorities

1. Same priorities and both are enabled

Both of them will be hidden

2. Same priorities and none is enabled

Both of them will display. Label which is created later will overlap the one is created first.

For example:

SALE ( created August 26th, 2024) And IN STOCK (created August 25th, 2024) both have:

+ The same quantity( =3)

+ Did not enable the feature: Hide if the label has the same or a higher priority number

=> Both of them will display. SALE label will overlap on IN STOCK label

3. Same priorities but just 1 label is enabled

Label(s) is not enabled: Display

Label(s) is enabled: Hidden
